The building that was to become the Saint James Paris was built in 1892 as a memorial to Adolphe Thiers, President of the French Republic. Constructed on the site of Paris's first aerodrome flew, it housed the Thiers foundation, a residence for France's best students.

The guest rooms
" At the Saint James, it feels like home " said one of our guests. For us, this is the best compliment. The family invests a lot so to give the place of warmth of a French private residence.
All the 48 rooms and suites are individually decorated. They are bright and spacious.
On the third floor, rooms open on the winter garden. Each room has its private terrace separated from the others by garden.
